DEW you wanna communicate?

Can machines have a sensorial experience of the physical world?

Machines don't have a physical presence, but if we feed them the right inputs, they'll have a sensory perception that represents some extent of reality.

How does it work?

DEW, short for Digital Embodiedment Wave, is a new entity that uses collected data from the weather (temperature, humidity, windspeed, solar radiation) and generates music.

DEW communicates what it sees from the data that we're feeding her (her perspective), generates sound, and then you can play and communicate with her trough gesture and create something new together. But be careful, if the day is too warm, she might not be in the mood to play!

Communicate and create with DEW

With four simple gestures, you can communicate and create a new track with DEW. Shall we make an orchestra? Can you imagine playing at the same time with your friends?

ARMS DOWN ≺ Play DEW's generated music

ARMS UP! ≺ Pich DEW's generated music

THE BODY BALL ≺ Lower the volume on DEW's generated music

LEFT ARM UP ≺ Stop DEW's generated music
